Tourism Funding Available for Upcoming Year
Wednesday, June 17th, 2009Last night, the Board of Aldermen approved the Tourism Commission Funding Guidelines for the 2009-2010 fiscal year. The Tourism Fund provides funding to projects that increase the number of first time or return visitors to the City, generate a significant return on investment for Riverside residents and businesses and expand the visiting public’s knowledge of Riverside and its history and amenities. Each year, 30% of the revenue in this fund is designated to provide Tourism Enhancement Grant to organization with projects that meet these goals. Funds available for the Fall 2010 grant cycle will be announced by June 30 and applications are due by 12 p.m. on August 3. Interested?
