Looking to obtain a fireworks occupational license in Riverside?

Fireworks license applications will be available at the City Clerk's office from February 1 to April 15th each year. Watch the "City News" on the City Clerk's office for notification.

What steps do I need to follow to obtain a fireworks license in Riverside?
1. Attend the mandatory meeting for fireworks vendors each spring.
2. Obtain and complete a fireworks license form available at the City Clerk's office.

What are the licensing fees?
Fees include a $1,500 license and a $1,000 clean-up bond. Your bond will be retuned after an inspection is made and approved by the Codes Enforcement Officer.

Who do I contact to start the fireworks licensing process?

What is the deadline to request an application?
Applications must be received by the City Clerk no later than April 15th at 5:00PM. Should April 15th fall on a weekend, applications must be received the previous, normal working day.

What forms are required to get a fireworks license?
1. Copy of the paid real property tax receipt for the proposed sale location for the prior year.
2. Proof of hazard insurance that meets city code
3. Copy of the proposed parking plan in compliance with City and Municipal codes
4. Completed application for Fireworks Occupational License
5. Fireworks Permit from the Mo. Dept. of Public Safety
6. Missouri Sales Tax License
7. Certificate of No Sales Tax Due
8. Sign Permit Application
