Court Rules and Regulations
The Court is a place of business and appropriate clothing, including shirt and shoes, is required at all times. The following clothing is inappropriate and prohibited: heavily soiled clothing, midriff baring outfits, shorts and cutoffs, halter and tank tops, undershirts, see-through clothing, bathing suits, lingerie, athletic uniforms, hats or helmets, theatrical costumes, face paint and clothing that is emblazoned with obscene words or images.
All pagers and cell phones must be turned to silent before entering the court room.
Food and drink, including alcohol, are not allowed on the premises.
Weapons are strictly prohibited from the building. All weapons will be confiscated and the violator will be appropriately charged. Do not attempt to bring any of these prohibited items to court. They will not be stored for pick up.
Only defendants and attorneys should be in the courtroom. Please take a seat and the clerk will call the docket. When your name is called, you will be asked to plead Guilty (No Contest) or Not Guilty.
Court costs are $26.50 and are in addition to the fine imposed by the Judge.
Any person violating this code may be subject to a contempt citation or subsequent fine and/or jail sentence in appropriate circumstances.
