Public Safety Classes
A variety of Public Safety classes are offered to the public throughout the year. Please check back for an updated list of classes, seminars and demonstrations.

Help Us Help You
If you or a member of your family is not ambulatory or has special medical needs, help us respond quickly and efficiently to your emergency by completing and submitting the Resident MEDAlert form found in the Document Center in the upper right corner of this page. With this information on file with the City, in the event of an emergency call from your residence, we will have more accurate information about your family and can provide better care.

Disaster Preparedness
To help you and your family be prepared in the event of a disaster, read the Disaster Check List found in the Document Center in the upper right corner of this page. This informative page will help you prepare, give you tips and hints on what essential supplies to have on hand and what to do during and after a disaster.

Crime Free Multi-Housing Program
The Crime Free Multi-Housing program is a crime prevention program designed to reduce crime, drugs and gangs on apartment properties.  The program was developed in 1992 in Mesa, Arizona and has spread to nearly 2,000 cities across the United States and Canada.  In Riverside, apartment managers can complete the three phase certification program under the supervision of the Public Safety Division, and after successful completion, the property will be certified in the Crime Free Multi-Housing program.
