Beginning today, FEMA Disaster Contractor Housing Inspectors will begin making appointments with Platte County residents who claim they have home damage due to the recent flooding. These inspector will carry badges to help identify themselves as official FEMA inspectors (see sample). These badges will state that the inspector is "under contract to FEMA" and contain one of the following ID numbers: 463, 719, 738, 745, 25846, 27811, 36730, 61979, 62394. These numbers are for Platte County ONLY and are the only numbers authorized by FEMA.
