Riverside Fire Dept Conducting Smoke Detector Checks

Join the Riverside Fire Department and observe National Fire Prevention Week October 9 through October 15 by checking your smoke detectors.

This year's theme is "Protect Your Family from Fire."  The Riverside Fire Department would like to inspect your smoke detectors and conducted a home safety inspection to help ensure your safe passage in the event of a fire. If your detector is not working, we will install new smoke detector free of charge. If your smoke detector is in need of battery we will help replace them, as well, free of charge.

If you live in an apartment or any type of rental property we will be more than happy to conduct an inspection and assist in getting your landlord to install smoke detectors.
