Staff Profile: Fire Shift B

Riverside Fire Division Shift B

Our resolution for 2012 is to get personal. We want you to put names with faces and faces with names, and spend some time getting to know your city staff. To help you, on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month, we’ll be posting a little “get to know you” information about the teams who work for the City. We would love for you to get involved too. Let us know if you or your neighbors are doing something noteworthy this year and we’ll feature you on the blog as well!  Here’s how to get in touch: Meredith Hauck, Director of Community Relations, at 816-372-9023 or by mhauck [at] riversidemo [dot] com (email).

What makes this shift special?
These guys love to interact with the public and show kids around the station. Not only do the kids get to get in the trucks, but they leave with their own helmet and fire stickers and tattoos.

Why Riverside?
This crew agreed the best part about working for the City is the sense of family. “This department is definitely a family-first environment,” added Adam Ellis.
