FPAL to Host Project Aware Luncheon

Did You Know That:

  • Most victims of sexual assault are under 18 years of age?
  • 1 in 4 girls and 1 in 7 boys will be sexually assaulted by age 18?
  • Most cases of child sexual abuse go unreported?
  • April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month?

  • The difference between good, bad and confusing touch
  • Assertive behaviors and new skills that may lower a child's risk for sexual abuse
  • How each child needs to identify a trusted adult, like parents, teachers, relatives and others to talk to and rely on for help
  • That it's not their fault

Come and be part of this free program and have lunch!
