Shred and E-Waste Event

The City of Riverside has partnered with the City of Parkville and Shred-It to provide a place for people to recycle and shred paper. The event is 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., Saturday, November 5 at EH Young Park. This is FREE to the public, so start cleaning out your desk and gathering up junk mail, old bank statements, flyers and other paper items to help keep our city clean.  Please be respectful of others who have items to shred and limit your boxes/bags to four per person.

In conjunction with the Shred event, Riverside and Parkville are also hosting an electronic waste event from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., Saturday November 5 in the parking lot at City Hall. A large hauler will be parked in the lot for people to dump any electronic items they no longer want. The following items are free to drop-off: CPU’s, Laptops, Computer Accessories, Phones (land and cell), Stereos, Copier Toner. Certain bulky items require a flat-rate charge. All applicable devices are restored to factory defaults and otherwise reset before recycling.
