Is the Missouri Riverfront Trail Open?

Yes!  Zone One of the Missouri Riverfront Trail reopened earlier this month after being closed due to high waters in the area.  Generally, Zone One is the paved portion of the trail that begins at the west trailhead off 9 Highway near Parkville.

Zones Two and Three, the portions of the trail on top of the levee, remain closed due to repair work being done by the Corps of Engineers.  This work is expected to continue until mid-November.
