**Zones 2 and 3 will be open on Saturdays and Sundays**

The Corps will be starting a construction project near the Pump Station in Zone 3 on Monday, March 5, 2012. As a result, the MRT section of the trail going by the Pump Station will be closed.  There will be an off road dump truck traffic crossing the crown of the levee at the ramp east of the pump station.  This project should last approximately 8 weeks and that portion of the trail will be reopened on the weekends during this time period.

On April 3, Zone 1 of the Missouri Riverfront Trail was closed for an indefinite amount of time while security issues in the area are resolved.  Until then, Zones 2 and 3 will open on the weekend, but Zone 1 will remain closed.
